I write to work things out
I often get caught up in things my friends have no interest in, and then find there is no one to discuss them with. That is why I started writing: the channel was an attempt to gather people around me I could talk to about what actually interests me.

Thought experiments are a weakness of mine. What happens if you remove this? How does everything else change if you alter one rule? A great deal of the hypothetical and the invented about the world and how it is put together: my longest pieces come out of questions like those.
